Details
The 6.5mm round is held between two tensioned ends of the band, with no prongs at all. The effect is a stone that appears to float. We use a semi-tension method (with a hidden inner rail) rather than a true tension setting, because true tension requires thick gold and is too rigid for sterling silver.
This is the most minimal design in our engagement line. It suits someone who does not wear jewelry often and wants a ring that reads as quiet rather than flashy.
Because the stone is only gripped on two sides, we recommend this design for size 6 and above; smaller fingers can find the setting too wide.
